Visiting Napa Valley in the summer means catching one of the many Napa City Nights events. These concerts are held throughout the summer and feature local favorites sharing live music.
This year’s session kicks off on June 9th and goes through August 18th. The live concerts start at 6:30 pm and run until 10:00 pm. Admission is free, but you might want to arrive early to catch a seat up front.
While the artists for the 2017 session have not been released (bands are not selected until the end of April), here are other useful details about the concert series:
- Location: The shows are hosted by the Veterans Memorial Park Amphitheater in downtown Napa. You will find it on the corner of Third and Main Street.
- Types of Music: Each year, there is a hearty mixture of genres, including jazz, rock, country, blues, world, pop, and folk music. Sometimes you will see a band, other times it may be a solo performer. No matter who is on stage, you will always have a good All music is family-friendly. Some extraordinary guest artists and local celebrities tend to make their appearances at the show too.
- Parking: Parking is sparse during the concert, so it is best if you can walk from your hotel to the Napa Riverwalk Promenade.
