Plan a Girls’ Night Out in Napa Valley

February 15, 2020
Category: Napa Valley Information

Are you thinking about planning a girls’ weekend for you and your friends? Why not arrange a weekend in Napa Valley! Between pampering, drinking fine wine and shopping at boutique stores, there is plenty to enjoy with the girls. And, when you’re in Napa Valley, you also have access to hot air balloon rides, picturesque hiking trails and relaxing pools and hot springs.

To plan an incredible girls’ getaway, here are some ideas to consider.

Book Your Stay at Napa Valley Hotel and Suites

One of the first things you’ll want to reserve is your hotel. Napa Valley Hotel and Suites is located in the heart of downtown Napa, making it easy to walk to the river, restaurants, breweries, spas and shopping. Our staff is friendly and welcoming, our rooms are clean and our prices are reasonable. Book your stay with us today!

Stroll the Oxbow Public Market

When you’re in Napa, the Oxbow Public Market is a great place to visit. Located by the river in downtown Napa, this market offers a great mix of locally sourced food, drinks and boutique shopping. You’ll find merchants selling chocolates, cupcakes, oysters and ice cream. While you’re there, be sure to stop by Fieldwork Brewing Company to try a craft beer.

Take a Cooking Class at the CIA

The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) offers cooking classes across from the Oxbow Public Market. Aside from taking classes, you and your friends can shop, watch cooking demonstrations and dine at the in-house restaurant. Check out CIA Copia’s website to learn more about tastings, concerts and other events.

Ride Bikes through the Backcountry

If you and your friends want to squeeze in some exercise, rent bikes for a self-guided tour through Napa’s backcountry. It’s beautiful and offers views of Lake Berryessa, equestrian trails and wildlife. Also, several outfitters lead tours to winery tastings. Primitive camping is quite popular in Napa’s backcountry, but we’re sure you’ll enjoy returning to your comfy suite!

Eat Lunch at Yountville Deli and Market

An affordable option for breakfast and lunch is Yountville Deli, now known as Velo Deli and Pizzeria. The restaurant serves unique sandwiches like the Ahimsa Vegan, Rosa Ruben or Sonoma Chicken, as well as pizza that is available by the pie or slice. You can also build your own sandwich if you don’t see anything you like on the menu.

Get a Spa Treatment

Napa Valley has a great selection of spas that offer refreshing massages, rejuvenating facials and other holistic treatments. Spend the day with the girls getting pampered with all of your favorite things. Some great spas and wellness centers to check out are Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, Golden Haven Hot Springs and Awaken Massage and Spa

As you can see, it’s easy to plan a girls’ trip in Napa Valley. There is plenty to do and see – these are just a few examples. The nightlife in Napa is great as well – expect to spend late nights drinking wine by the fire and listening to live bands. Napa Valley Hotel and Suites will be happy to help you plan your getaway. Call us today to reserve your room.
