Best Napa Valley Breweries for St. Patty’s Day

March 28, 2020
Category: Napa Valley Things To Do

Everyone loves to be Irish for a day! St. Patrick’s Day brings people of all backgrounds together for green beer, delicious Irish food and fun. Many larger cities have parades and other festivities to celebrate St. Patty’s Day, and Napa Valley is no exception. You can find a number of things to do around this holiday whether you’re interested in Irish music, craft beer or shenanigans.

Below are some of the most anticipated St. Patrick’s Day events in and around Napa Valley. It’s fun to be Irish – even it’s just for the day!

Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery

The Calistoga Inn welcomes hundreds of visitors and locals for an annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The brewery has an Irish band and a special menu that includes Irish favorites like corned beef brisket, oatmeal stout braised lamb stew and fish pie. For vegetarians, there is a no-fish pie on the menu as well. Aside from the delicious food, people stop into Calistoga Inn for an exclusive stout and seasonal selection of beer.

Trade Brewing

Trade Brewing is located in Napa’s Oxbow district, making it a great place to visit when you’re out shopping and dining. On St. Patty’s Day, the brewery offers food specials like corned beef hash sliders and green beer. Trade Brewing also plans on having a live band this year, as well as two new beers, including a Mexican-style lager.

Stone Brewing

Located in downtown Napa, Stone Brewing is known for their big-character beers that feature bold flavors and high quality ingredients. The brewery is planning on making an oatmeal stout for St. Patrick’s Day, as the stout gained popularity in Ireland. You can pick up this stout at the brewery or order it in a growler and have it delivered to you via Doordash.

St. Clair Brown Winery and Brewery

Situated just a few blocks north of downtown Napa, St. Clair Brown Winery and Brewery plans on brewing an oatmeal stout for St. Patrick’s Day. Because the brewery is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the stout will be available on tap over the weekend. So, pay a visit and sit back and relax in the garden while trying out new beers and wines that pair well with a cheeseboard.
