The Long Meadow Ranch Summer Concert Series may be a young series but it is one that promises to become a long-standing tradition throughout the the Napa Valley. Starting in June and running through early October, the series features a regular schedule of incredible concerts from a wide variety of artists. Here’s what you need to know about what’s left of the season.
Concerts Still to Come
By now you may have already seen the likes of Fruition, One Grass Two Grass, Cabinet, Travelin’ McCourys, and Hot Buttered Rum. If not, you missed out, but there are still three concerts left for the summer (things slow down a little bit once school starts).
Sunday, August 30th @ 3:30pm – The Brothers Comatose & Dead Winter Carpenters
Sunday, September 20th @ 3:30pm – The Infamous Stringdusters with Midnight North
Sunday, October 4th @ 3:30pm – LMR All-Star Big Band (Benefiting the Timothy Hall Foundation)
The August 30th event with The Brothers Comatose is presented by Farmstead and also features farm-to-table food, LMR’s food-friendly wines, horseshoe games, and a lot of fun picnic-style entertainment. The September 20th show with The Infamous Stringdusters promises more of the same.
The October 4th show with the LMR All-Star Big Band, on the other hand, will take the series out with a bang. This particular show will benefit the Timothy W. Hall Foundation, a non-profit grant-making foundation working to create innovative school curriculum in the arts and sciences for grades K-12.
