Spring is almost over and summer is just about here, but we don’t have to wait until the heat arrives to start having fun. If you appreciate great music, good food, and fun in the sun you’ll definitely want to grab your passes to Bottle Rock Napa Valley. This year’s festival will run from May 29th through May 31st, 2015. The doors open at 11:30am each day and close at approximately 10:00pm (roundabout when the last act will end).
Who’s on the Lineup?
The stages for the three-day festival will be packed from open to close, with some incredible performers. On Friday you can expect to see greats like Imagine Dragons, Los Lobos, Zella Day, and Wildlife Control. Saturday’s acts include Robert Plant, ZZ Ward, Lettuce, Wild Ones, and Doe Eye. On Sunday you may see No Doubt, Snoop Dogg, Frail, and Matthew Moon. There are literally more than two dozen acts scheduled for each day, so make sure you check out the full line-up to see when your favorites are performing.
Who Can Come to the Festival?
The festival is open to anyone – all ages are allowed. Visitors under the age of 8 are admitted for free as long as they are with a pass-holding adult (maximum two children per adult). Children between the ages of 8 and 13 are welcome with tickets but must still be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent.
Unfortunately, three-day passes are already sold out, but you can still grab one-day passes for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. The average general admission pass is $129 and there are also options to upgrade to VIP passes that include shaded viewing areas, separate entrances with smaller crowds, and a few other extras.
What Else Can You Expect?
There will be so much more than music at this festival. Make sure you check out the culinary stage to see some of the country’s hottest celebrity chefs, vintners, and sommeliers as they perform and get crazy with their demos. There’s even going to be a silent disco! (We’re not going to tell you what that is – you’ll have to attend to find out).
Food and drink from outside aren’t permitted but there will be plenty available for purchase throughout the festival experience, including vegan and gluten free options. CamelBak and Event Water Solutions will be operating several FREE water stations where you can refill your own water bottles or CamelBaks.
Because Bottle Rock is dedicated to sustainability, event organizer will be looking for as many ways as possible to reduce waste, including the use of compostable and recyclable food items that you can get rid of at recycling stations throughout the event grounds.
There will be daily bus services from surrounding towns to help reduce carbon footprints. Cycling and carpooling are encouraged as well. Each day, Bottle rock will award 20 cars (up to 80 people) with at least 4 people in the car with a VIP upgrade for the day. If you use Tripada to find someone to carpool with, you’ll each get a $10 Amazon Gift card.
If you are headed to the area for Bottle Rock, make sure you book your Napa hotel room ASAP. Rooms are selling out fast and you’ll want to be as close to the action as possible for the duration of your experience. Be safe and have fun!
