The Safeway Open Pro-Am Golf Tournament begins Wednesday at 7:20 a.m. Click here for a list of Pro-Am pairings.

Gates for the main event open Thursday at 6:30 a.m.,
with first-round tee times at 7:20.  Look
for:

  • Fred Couples
  • Cameron Champ
  • And more than 135 of the best golfers in
    the world

Second and third rounds run on Friday and Saturday,
with the final round on Sunday starting around 10 a.m.

On to the Safeway Open Concert Series. Here’s what you
need to know:

  • Timing: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
    nights at the conclusion of the golf tournament.
  • Location: Chevron Pavilion at the Silverado
    Resort & Spa, Napa. This intimate courtyard setting delivers a fantastic
    concert experience.

us, but we’re about halfway through the season! It’s not too early to begin
planning an end-of-summer Labor Day getaway to Napa Valley.  Warm days, cool nights, and a bounty of
relaxing activities create a perfect respite as you gear up for fall.

Here are a few of our favorite events happening on the
Labor Day weekend, which starts Saturday, August 31st and continues through
Monday, September 2nd.

August through October is the harvest season in Napa
Valley. Winemakers rush to pick grapes at peak ripeness and start the fruit’s
transformation into flavorful wines. On September 8th, 2019, the
Calistoga AVA will host its sixth annual harvest celebration.

The celebration features food and drinks from nine
local restaurants and more than 40 wineries. With 1,000 feet of tables set in
the center of Calistoga’s downtown, the joyous event expresses gratitude for a
bountiful harvest.
