Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Napa Valley
Most people think of beer when they celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, but there are plenty of festivities in wine country too. Napa is known for its official St. Patty’s Day celebrations, from delicious corned beef dinners to local breweries showing off their latest creations.
If you are looking to celebrate with some of the finest brews in Napa, here are a few breweries we suggest you should definitely have on your list:
- Downtown Joes – This local pub has been around since 1994 and offers some of the best meals paired with amazing brews. We highly recommend their patty melts and fish and chips if you are a first time diner. In their micro-brewery, they create famous beers, including their Lazy Summer American Wheat, Tantric India Pale Ale and Golden Thistle Very Bitter Ale.
- Napa Smith – Located in an impressive facility of Napa, you can tour the brewery during the week and enjoy a signature pint glass when you leave. Their tasting room is also open daily and features eight different brews to try.
- Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewing – Inside this facility, you will find the Napa Valley Brewing Co. Since 1987, this brewery has been crafting numerous award-winning beers. You can tour or visit for a tasting and even take one of their 22-ounce bottles home to enjoy later.
