The rest of the country may be getting ready for snow, cold temperature and fir trees decorated in tinsel, but Napa Valley is still enjoying what we’re known for: wine! This year, Calistoga will be celebrating its 5th annual Winter in the Wineries Passport from December 6, 2013 to February 9, 2014. If you need a getaway from your city’s cold, dreary weather, or you simply need a break from all the holiday entertaining, come to Napa Valley where the fun never stops!
Winter in the Wineries offers a relaxed way to tour various wineries, sample the wines and even meet winemakers, the brains behind all the hard work. There are both large and small wineries to explore, allowing you to see the difference between the two. The event is relaxing, which is perfect in the winter when you’re dealing with the hustle and bustle of the holidays, and it gives visitors the opportunity to see Napa Valley during the off-season when it’s cooler and quieter.
